Control banding allows for comparing chemicals based on hazard risk, and control banding provides guidance documents on how to use these chemicals safely to reduce occupational illness.

By indexing MSDS ingredients, the msdsBinders system will automatically input the volatility, dustiness and boiling point of the liquid. Users will manually input operating temperature and quantity of use. Within seconds, the system will complete the control banding process and identify the level of risk and associated guidance document. These documents are then used to implement control methods in the workplace.
